Zapegg Tax Consultant UAE Full Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to join. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling transactions accurately and efficiently, providing excellent customer service, and contributing. If you have strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
Process customer transactions accurately using cash registers or point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Handle cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment in a secure and organized manner.
- Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Provide information on menu items, promotions, and restaurant policies.
- Resolve customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Efficiently and accurately enter customer orders into the POS system.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Keep the cashier area and surrounding workspaces clean and organized.
- Monitor and restock necessary supplies, such as receipt paper and change.
- Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Verify the accuracy of prices and quantities of items listed on receipts.
- Balance cash drawer at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies.
- Complete required paperwork and reports related to cash transactions.
- Communicate effectively with other team members, including kitchen and waitstaff.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous experience as a cashier in the restaurant industry is preferred.
- Strong numerical and math skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to handle transactions quickly and accurately in a high-volume environment.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
